Mode of action

Post-emergent contact herbicide (Group 10) based on ammonium glufosinate. It disrupts plant ammonium metabolism and inhibits photosynthesis; green tissues yellow, wilt and die in 2-5 days.

Dose & application

1.5 to 5 l/ha depending on weed and use (2.5-3.5 l/ha for rhizome Johnsongrass; 300-400 cm³/ha as desiccant in alfalfa)

Timing: In LL corn, when the crop has 3-4 leaves; broadleaf weeds at 2-4 leaves and grasses at early tillering. Do not apply under water stress or at temperatures below 10 °C or above 25 °C.
Method: Ground spraying with good agitation system, 100-150 l/ha of water at 40-70 psi with flat-fan nozzles; coverage of 40-50 drops/cm².
