Sulfentrazone SINO-AGRI
Efficient weed control
Active ingredient
Sulfentrazone 50%
Formulation
SC (Suspensión concentrada)
Reg. No.
41692
Mode of action
Pre-emergent herbicide from the aryl triazolinone group (Group 14). It is absorbed through the roots and inhibits the protoporphyrinogen oxidase enzyme, causing membrane disruption; plants emerging from treated soil turn necrotic and die upon exposure to light.
Key benefits
- Delivers sustained residual soil activity and root uptake for longterm vegetation control.
- Remains photostable on dry soil without photodegradation and activates readily with rainfall.
- Achieves good penetration through crop residues under field conditions.
Dose & application
0.25 to 1 l/ha depending on soil type and organic matter (pre-emergent soybean 0.8-1 l/ha; sunflower 0.4-0.5 l/ha; peanut 250-350 cm³/ha)
- Timing
- Pre-emergence of crop and weeds, during or immediately after sowing; in chemical fallow up to 30 days before sowing (15 days in peanut). On soils with organic matter below 1% use only as chemical fallow.
- Method
- Ground spraying at 30-45 psi with boom and herbicide nozzles; 180-200 liters of water; 20-30 drops/cm².
