Mode of action

Selective pre-emergent herbicide from the aryl triazolinone group (Group 14). It is absorbed through the roots and inhibits the protoporphyrinogen oxidase enzyme, causing membrane disruption; plants emerging from treated soil turn necrotic and die upon exposure to light.

Dose & application

0.25 to 1.5 l/ha depending on crop, soil type and organic matter (0.8-1.5 l/ha in soybean; 0.4-0.5 l/ha in sunflower; 250-350 cm³/ha in peanut)

Timing: Pre-emergent: apply immediately after sowing and always before weed or crop emergence. In chemical fallow, up to 30 days before sowing. On light soils use only as chemical fallow.
Method: Ground spraying at 30-45 psi with boom and herbicide nozzles; 180-200 liters of water; 20-30 drops/cm².
